Anne's Double Triple Secret Giveaway

Before we talk about my Double Triple Secret Give Away, there are some people I need so say Thank You to first.  I've won several give aways recently and have also been the beneficiary of some kind gifts.

I won some lovely 28mm Harlequin Archers from Millsy at Canister & Grape and I recently won a 28mm Dwarf Lord by Scibor Dwarf from Mr.Lees Painting Emporium.

And in the post I recently received a gift from James at Exiles Wargames Painter. He sent me a painted Amy Pond figure along with a couple of Daleks.

After this windfall I thought to myself "Anne, it's time for you to do a Give Away to prevent people from lynching you give back a bit to the community." So that's when I came up with the idea for my Double Triple Secret Give Away which began last Thursday.

Without your knowing it, some of you have already received bonus entries for the Extravaganza that will commence on Monday (that's what makes it Secret).  Anyone who left a comment on my Thursday and Friday posts last week, on the date of posting, has already earned a bonus entry for each comment they made.

Further anyone who leaves a comment on today's post by the end of today, will receive another entry in the Give Away.  Yes, it's like pre-entering for a Give Away that hasn't happened yet.

So what's on offer you ask? I won't be specific, but the Secret Agent Babe in the picture is a clue for one of the prizes. The prizes will not be single items, but will be gift bundles consisting of multiple items.

The official Give Away will begin on Monday, September 23rd and there will be more opportunities for multiple entries for those interested. The rules will be given in that post as well.

    3. You can time travel? So can I! It's fabulous isn't it, except for those pesky paradoxes where you can change the timeline so that you never existed. Almost happened to me once, but I went back and fixed it before...wait, that's impossible. Nurse!!!!

no problem: I call the Doctor and we will have a little trip with the TARDIS !

I think I'm preselected for an old rusty teapot.... :P

    4. I have the perfect spot for the dusty armchair, cobwebs and all. It will be my new writing chair. I will think of her every time I sit in it and miss seeing her posts.

I'm only taking my drums, my clothes and my figures. Anything that will remind me of this time in Hell I never want to see again!

Fang never hides her kills. If she doesn't eat them, she puts them beside the door on the porch. She left me a bird yesterday. I don't mind those, it's the baby squirrels that make me kind of sad.

    1. Truly the figure is a Secret Agent Babe, that's what she's called on the website and it's on the blister pack. Some women find that type of thing offensive or sexist. I don't mind a bit as I understand the gaming community.

      Delete
    2. Oh my gosh, that's just silly to be offended. Or to me, it is. But then I don't mind that kind of stuff. I know there's even chicks out there that get offended when a guy opens a door for them.

Me thinks those women need to get themselves some, might help them not be so bloody uptight.

Have a good weekend, Anne. I'm on couch rest today and then back to work for the weekend. Cheers and boogie boogie.

  29. Yes! You need to post pictures of the Who minis!
Have you ever seen The Guild? I have a mini I painted to look like Felicia Day's character in that. Or I did? I may have sold it. I can't remember.

I have made it a mission to get my stuff organized and time managed to the point that I can spend next summer painting. Which seems like a long time off, but that's my goal. And I will have a bunch of new stuff coming in for that, so...

    ReplyDelete

    1. I've never seen the Guild, and I don't know what the show is. I'll have to look it up.

There's nothing like a load of new lead coming in to make a person paint. The rush of adrenaline at the sight of all that lead creates a real high for me. I've an army coming end of next month and I can't wait to get it.

      Delete
    2. Oooh... what kind of army?
I think mine is mostly gonna be plastic. Not really sure.

The Guild was designed as webisodes. You may still be able to find all of them free to watch online. They're only about 5 minutes each. At least in the first couple of seasons.

      Delete
    3. It's an army led by a Dragon! There are human warriors but the leaders are all dragons. It's so cool, I can't wait to get it. The large dragons are in resin and the troops are in metal.

I'll have to check out The Guild. Both of us watch free Youtube. You've been without a telly for much longer than I have.
