Deadly Elegance or Innocent Allure

Welcome to Anne's Epic Babe Challenge where you get to decide which babe is the sexiest. Is it the babe I painted for Ray or will it be Fran's babe that takes your breath away?

First up we have Ray's babe and I chose her because Rousell has a bit of thing for Ms. Zooey Deschanel, a dark beauty who favors a vintage style.  The figure is from Hell Dorado and is 28mm scale.  I think she has a Deadly Elegance.

If you know Fran, you know he likes two things above all else in a woman and this babe has those two things in spades.  She's from Hasslefree Miniatures and is 25mm scale. I wanted to give this babe an Innocent Allure. The look of a sex kitten-innocent on the outside, naughty on the inside. I freehand painted the scrollwork on the skirt.

At the top of my right sidebar you'll find a poll where you can vote for either Deadly Elegance or for Innocent Allure.  The polls will be open until 12:00 a.m. Saturday November 10th GMT.  The winner will be announced on November 12th. In the event of a tie, The Hubby has the tie breaking vote.

So you decide, will it be Ray or will it be Fran who walks away with the Bonus Babe? Either way, I win because I bought the Bonus Babe on Saturday, which is what this is all about in the first place.

This post has been done with autopost. I had a difficult day yesterday and  I must get some sleep. I will be around to comment and read blogs in a few hours. Please take no offense if I'm running late.

  1. Both are well painted Anne, I have seen the scroll work babe in an earlier post and I still like what you did with it.

Did you check out the link I gave you for the Consolation Babe? She could be the Viking Womans sister!

    2. True the boobies are grand. The cat would suckle them all day long haha and yeah wow, she could be the viking woman's sister. The cat could use her and have a fat chewing sandwich hahaha

    1. These figures are highly stylized. but not all female figures are like this. There's so much variety. I'm posting a female on Friday that puts both of these to shame.

but I think that I prefer Elegance than Innocent Sexy !

  36. Another tough call... I like the style and pose of the first model (though the sword seems oddly angled, is it bent?).
I liked the more colourful scroll work on the second model... But I'm currently enjoying VSF and the first models pose with the bustle just draws me in ;-)

    Replies
    1. The sword is bent. I had a devil of a time getting the arm to stay on. Once I'd got it to stay, I was afraid to mess with the sword.

That bustle is nice isn't it. I just love this style of dress.

      Delete
    2. I hadnt realised the arm was seperate piece. What I would recommend in future for such work, is to use superglue (I like Zapagap), and also a superglue accelerator spray - like Zip kicker. It makes a quick strong bond.

Obviously, in this case, try and get sowrd straightened before attaching arm to model. I find a hobby set of pliers are good at such straightening requirements, just carefully and gently crimp item back to straight. Its easier than trying to do it with your fingers.

Bustle ... Hmm, reminds me of Kate Beckinsale in Sherlock Holmes....

      Delete
    3. I'll look for the Zip Kicker. I've seen people use pins, but I don't have a drill and I'd be afraid of shattering the piece. I was using my fingers, I have pliers and don't know why I didn't think of that.

Oh Kate is a beauty, a real beauty.
