Jesus Christ I'm Doing A Guest Post!

I know, it's shocking. Generally speaking guest posts are something I don't do and I had a great time doing this one. There's something freeing about posting on someone elses blog because you get to reveal things you normally wouldn't do at your own place.

So if you're curious about how old I am and how I feel about it get on over to Melanie's place and read about it. Mel's a really sweet girl and she knows how to cook so if you want to find a recipe for something you've never tried before take a look through her backlog. You'll be glad you did.

Generally I'm very good about replying to comments. On Tuesday I didn't get that done because I'd been awake for 48 hours and after I posted I just fell dead asleep. I did read all the comments and appreciate everyone's input.

I won't be posting again this week as I'm exhausted. So everyone do your best to get through the rest of the week and into the weekend with your sanity intact. It's an ugly world out there, so let's cherish the friends we have and be at peace one with the other.  I know I will.

    1. Thank you Angry. I posted way too much this week and it wore me out. I don't know how you guys post five days a week, it would kill me!

  2. Wow you surely needed/need a rest after that, and also makes it easier for the cat to sneak about, without you to see as you snore away, a frightful display hahaha will go look.

    1. Between blogging as much as I did and just taking care of my life, I was run ragged. I have to take a break from blogging because I haven't even started painting my mouse.

Just keep your poo off my lawn Cat!!

    2. I suppose I can do that, just throw it in a pringle can and let it roll around. Surely need a break, have to get that mouse done so Ray doesn't win.

    1. I'm not cut out to blog for consecutive days. I like to keep it to 2-3 times a week. This has worn me out!

    1. I just got back to blogger after being gone for an entire month. I only did one post in the month of June and I'm already worn out. It takes a long time to do one post though because there's always art involved and that can take days to do. You do the same thing with your art, so we're actually very hard-working bloggers.

    1. You put in those 12 hour night shifts with 4 days on and 4 days off. You probably need to sleep at least half a day to straighten out your internal clock. At our age Ray, we need naps!!

  8. Just got done reading! You've a special mind, Anne.

I've blogged without sleep for 48 hours. It was terrible and I don't think I'd ever do that again.

    1. Thank you D4. It's a happy little world that I try to create for myself. The real world is rubbish so I might as well have fun with my imagination!

I don't ever want to do it again either. It's not healthy physically or mentally.

  12. Quite philisophical and interesting to see the titel Jesus Christ I'm Turning 50 after it turned up and then dissapeared on my blog roll a couple of weeks ago.
    "To sleep, perchance to dream"

  13. Well my nieces are here all week so the chances of me getting a good week are low, but I should be getting my bedroom door put up soon, which will cheer me up a little. I do love Mel's blog and I have the post open in another tab ready :)

  14. I hope that you're okay Anne and get some adequate rest soon, don't worry about comment replies too much. I've been the same with sleep deprivation recently and it's prevented me from blogging or anything so I know how you feel. I'm gonna check out this guest post when I've done my early morning comments too, I know it's going to be good.

Loved the post over at Mel's. She's become one of my dear visitors after we've found eachother recently at your place.
I was touched by your wish for the big B-day, and I don't mean the B&B job :)

  21. Gravity is a bitch, which is why I'm thinking about sleeping upside down, and I mean vertically. Not sure what the outcome will be like. Enjoy your break, Anne.
